This week (October 30 to November 2, 2011), I was in Denver for the Society of Petroleum Engineers Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition. I was working with Fugro-Jason, a company offering software and services related to reservoir characterization and modeling.
Do you remember when I worked with Fugro-Jason at SEG?
If not, click here to read about my experience at that event.
For SPE ATCE, we were focused on connecting with reservoir engineers and promoting the newest version of PowerLog (one of Fugro-Jason’s software offerings) which will be released in the coming months. My main responsibility during this event was to welcome attendees into our booth for scheduled technical presentations and ensure that all of our visitors were properly cared for. I raised awareness of the various sessions offered, spoke with attendees about personal demonstrations available, and invited Fugro-Jason’s clients, partners, and friends to an evening reception. Also, I introduced interested attendees to technical experts and sales staff for continued conversation.
Our efforts in Denver were successful because we were able to meet with high quality leads, continue developing relationships with current clients, and consider new opportunities to improve the execution of future events.
